Thanks plaaya. I was figuring that ALT was alternator, but CDS was a total mystery to me. OK, new question. What's a condensor fan motor? I don't have AC (unit removed), and I never turn on my heat.
I blew 2 main fuses in the fuse block. The abbreviations are ALT (100 amp) and CDS (40 amp, even though it's suppossed to be a 30 amp [I didn't notice this until just now]). Can someone tell me what these go to so I can track down the issue? Thanks all.
I don't care about the auto up/down feature. I need to make liitle cages to protect them from getting hit since they will be mounted low. Should be simple enough. The hard part will be figuring out how to wire them up.
I live in Cali, not by choice though. California drivers are one more reason I drive a suped up Supra. It allows me to out manuever the retards who refuse to use their turn signals and mirrors. I've been nearly run off the road by idiot California drivers.
Is it possible to re-wire the power window switches so that each window motor has a simple aftermarket 3-way switch like this one.
I want two of these switches on the drivers door (one for each window), and one on the passenger door. Is this possible or am I doomed to have the stock switch.

Strange request folks. What is the height and length of the interior door panels for the 89-92? I need to know so I can make a flat template interior door panel. I currently don't have any. I have an idea, but I'm not sure that the cardboard that I have is big enough. I need it for a mock...
I'm Adam.
I was born and raised in the Portland, Oregon area.
I enlisted in the Marine Corps shortly after the end of my Junior year in high school, and left for bootcamp a couple months after my graduation on June 21, 2004.
My parents divorced when I was 2, and I was mainly raised by my dad...
The motor mounts for the 1J are the same for the 89-92 Supra. So I could get solid motor mounts, but that would cause a lot of vibration that I don't want because vibration is bad.
My mom called me from Beaverton, Oregon at 7:45 this morning to brag that she has 2" of snow on the ground and that it's snowing hard. Meanwhile I'm stuck here in southern California freezing my ass off and not seeing a single snow flake unless I drive 3 hours.
My motor mounts are brand new Joe, straight from the factory. Although that is a possibility. Can I upgrade my motor mounts to something stronger besides rigid mounts (which I don't want because of the vibration that will shake my car apart)?
That's probably what it is. I really need to get my engine anchored down with a cable so it doesn't move nearly as much. This is the 2nd time I've pulled something free on my motor by hitting the gas hard. The last time was on my 7M, I broke the knock sensor and had to limp the car back for...
The car still runs fine, but I just don't have certain things working. My dad also suggested a grounding wire. I'll deal with it the next time I'm at my car.
