jdub, i've never seen this picture before. I have a high idle that i cannot rid myself of. Would it be better to set the timing this way vs. setting the timing to 10* with a high idle? high as in around 900-1000+RPM depending on the day. Recently its even been hitting 1200RPM, i can't imagine...
now that you've learned the difference between the ignitor and CPS :icon_bigg look here, this will help a million when used in conjunction with jdubs pic

2 things stand out here....
running 'pig rich' even out of a WB range
12V feul mod with a walbro
what could these two things possibly be telling you ;)
never heard a 2jz in person so i will be biased and say i love the sound of my 7m with full, catless 3" HKS exhaust, not overly loud but still has a deep grumble, people mistake my car being cammed all the time.
fellas, i said RTV, not the FIPG. oil penetrates RTV over time, period. This is not only mentioned on most RTV sealant packages it was proven on my last car as the idiot who rebuilt it decided to use some as an oil pan gasket...took time to happen but it did eventually. And personally i have...
Please, for your own sake, dont listen to those people who say to use ANY type of RTV as a gasket :nono:
oil PENETRATES RTV/Silicon over time, its the worst thing you could use short of nothing. Cork/rubber is the best option.
every system is different. You just need to be sure its between 0-1V closed throttle w/o setting code 51. There's no exact voltage its going to be at, its either making contact or not. Mine personally is .565V, if i set it to .570 (which is just barely moving it) i set off code 51.
regaurding TPS issue, simply jump the terminals and extract codes, if you see code 51 then its not set right and you need to rotate it until the 51 stops blinking.
Here's a question....what oils should you STAY AWAY from. Obviously the 20w-50 thing has been beatin to death in general. Please give weight range and make/manufacturer
