I find it impossible to remove that black foot rest on the driver side floor in order to get the kick panel off covering all the electrical components. The screws are rusted as normal and flush mount. Any suggestions on removal in order to get that int. piece off?

yes, yes it does.
Transmission has been rebuilt already. Relatively recently anyway, i would say within past 20k miles. No shifting troubles at all.
Any idea what would cause it within the trans?

Well IJ, i didn't notice anything obvious, no twisting, nothing seemed out of line compared to something else. I took some pics, not sure they help much, maybe you can see something I can't (added in first post).

if you've ever datalogged AFR's you'll notice a strange fluctuation in the fuel curve typically around 3K, this is when the ECU decides to switch over to 12v. This mod eliminates this curve, which can happen at any RPM

^yes i can ARM it just not disarm it. I do not recall any wiring attatched to the handle itself, mounted on the handle yes there is. It worked fine on the old handle so maybe i knocked a wire loose or something
