Thanks Brian. I couldn't find an adjustment unless it's behind the rear cover were the catch is. The bumpers are probablly dealer. Stupid question right? I'll check to see if my struts are loose. Maybe I can find some stickie foam pads to put on the bumpers if nothing else works.
I'm sure somebody else has had this problem. With louder exhaust, my rear deck lid , maybe from age, has started to vibrate and rattle. Is there an adjustment to pull it down a little tighter or something else I can do? :aigo: Thanks
Yeah it does. With the increase in stroke and .060 over pistons (10.5 compression) 3280cc. I'm switching to maft pro now just waithin on the settings from CRE. Timming wait to see how this works out.
Thanks Fuzz. Now to make every thing work as well as it should. Haven't seen any progess on the 101mm stroker build. My stroke now is 97.5mm. I know I couldn't get mine running very well without an Apexi which I'll proably sell eventually. Hope he's making progess.
I've been trying to scan my dyno sheet from a little over a year age seems I have a problem, but the hp was 215.1 and 207.o tq. @5800rpm. Right now I'm working with CRE to run speed density w/Maft pro. When it's up and running I'll post before and after dyno runs.
Id choose "b". Trying to get these guys to not take things so seiously. Like I said shouldn't make any diff. na or turbo were all in this together right? You grumpy old fart you DID edit my post
Yea I agree its just the turbo guys that keep wanting to go bigger and bigger just lack in another place but make up for it with their stunning wit and intellect, and trying to make up for it, and I'm not talking about their cars and I'm happy knowing I wear ladies panties :biglaugh:
I had the choice on na and turbo when I bought my supra didn't think 20 hp was worth 2,000.00. I bought the car because I liked a lot of things about the car, didn't make any diff. if it was na or turbo, didn't buy it to impress anybody, held on to it for 20 years now because I like the car...
Good to know my machinist was very anal about the spec. when he put it all together. With the apexi I had on and stock injectors and stock afm dynoed at 215hp and 207 torque. Just had a dip in the power climb at about 3800rpm figured it could use some more fuel and air.
It's a 88na bought it new wayyyyy back Grump. I've got another block just in case. Just trying to get enough air and fuel to make it run better now( Maft Pro and other mods.) Got a couple of thou. miles on the rebuild no sign of any prob overheating or anything.
I agree with Grumpy. I found the old thread with the caulcuator and if you plug in the fig. it comes out to 3240.7. If you use the formula in the thread (.0031416/4) x 84.5 x 84.5 x 97.5 x 6 = 3280.65. That's close to what the stroker supplier says(3282cc). Just wanted to check with you guys...
Thanks. The formula I've seen says bore x bore x .7854(constant) xstroke x 6.So 3.327 x3.327 x .7854 x3.833 x 6 = 3276.32.
Anybody else have a different way to figure it?
Does anybody know how to figure displacement? I know stock 7m is 2954cc. I've got +6.5mm overstock on the stroke which I think stock is 91mm plus, .060 over pistons. The place that I got the stroker kit from said +665cc with stroked crank and .060 bore. 3619cc? Any online formula just does't...
