its entirely possible, but i think they're exaggerating a little with their numbers.. a rotary produces a lot of power, but no torque due to it's tiny displacement.. Im just waiting to see this engine's faults...

Oh, so I'm not supposed to feel it kick in... hmm, so the surge tank affects it's operation? and do you think it's really worth trying to reactivate/fix it?

I thought it provided an extra push due to the added flow when the flap opens?

Searches only bring up the word "surge tank" (all posted by CRE) but nothing identifying what it does. My car is missing the surge tank, and the vacuum lines going to it. But the car runs normal, doesn't stall, doesn't idle sporadically, in fact, I didn't even know it was missing until I read...
