Geezer, I just need a wider tire to handle what the car has to put down... I have 245/45ZR16s on there now... And I just spin them off all day... It sucks when you punch it, and the motor gets loud, the RPMs race up, and you pretty much dont go anywhere, just make smoke... Joe, I know TT...

BUT, I cant finds tires... They are a set of toyota Supra wheels that are 16X8 fronts and 16X9 rears... The price is good, the condition of the wheels are great, BUT: I cant find a wheel to fit... I want a 275/40ZR16 tire, and tehy jsut dont make it... I've been to four different E-tire stores...

Id like to know too, because Ive had alot of head work done and could definately bump it up to 7000-7200 rpm... Also, Im still pullin alot of power up top, so it owuld be nice to have more room... Keep us informed on what you find out...

Thanks guys... Yeah, I guess thats really my question, will a 15" drag wheel clear our rotors? I wanna use the sawblades, because I have them, hoever, the options are SOOOO much greater for a 15" slick then a 16"... Not to mention, if I could get a 15X9 wheel, I could mount up 26X11.5X15...

I dont trust those time converter tables, because our cars pull much harder up top than a live axle NA... BTW: great times... Especially for street tires, that track must be really sticky! What kind of tires were you using to pull 60 footers like that?
