+1 for building the harness. I have been wanting to do this for a while (slightly intimidated) but at some point soon i want to tackle it. I don't know why, but it does seem like almost all of the aftermarket harnesess use cheap ass wire.
sidenote: last year I bought a wiring harness for my...
Yeah...beyond the obvious things (door panels, headliner, carpet, etc) your going to need sound deadening material as I'm sure Mr Mad Drift tore it all out.
Dynamat's great...but ungodly expensive, especially when your talking about doing the whole car. But if you don't do the whole car...
I agree. These guys are slow as hell. Shit...I think they built the space shuttle faster.
The way they are "evaluating" marketability (assuming that's what they are concerned with) you'd think their whole company's profitability depended on it. Good God...they're in the bushing business...
Supra throttle linkage is kind wimpy (adequate at best). I also would like to know.
I haven't ever seen any upgraded throttle linkage specifically designed for the MkIII, but I've only had mine for 3.5 years so I don't know as much as some of the guys here who've been at this for a lot...
Can't imagine why he would say that when everybody knows that gear heads tend to not use especially great grammer and spelling probably due to the fact that alot of times they're distracted by some type of mechanical mishap usually due to some kind of oversight possibly as a result of said...
I must have put a bolt in it when I swapped from 7mge to 7mgte and forgot about it.
And no, not only did I never drain it that way... appearantly I never missed it. Jesus, what a dumbass I am. Not only that, but I didn't even title the thread correctly it should have been - Cylinder Block...
That's right... I'm vexed.
In short, there is a plug on the passenger side of the cylinder head, EPC view #11415 & 11415A, part #96432-23814.

It's an oil petcock, but what is it's purpose? I can't figure it out...
You know...those KYB's have a lifetime warranty...in case they (for some unknown reason) were to blow out.
If they were to blow out with the ground conrol springs you could get them replaced. The warranty says "repair or replace" but considering they're not very expensive, I would speculate...
I got this tip from a pro:
Buy a cheap steam iron. You've probably seen them, you fill them with water and they shoot out steam. Just steam a small area at a time and then immediately scrape the area with a sharp new single edge razor.
I've done it and it works better than anything else...
A plenium spacer is a popular mod on G35's and 350Z's.
Certainly does not mean it would have a positive affect on a 7m. It would take extensive testing and a lot of calculating to make a similar item for our cars (if in fact there were any possiblity of increasing performance with this type...
This is exactly why I am switching over to a stand-alone. Too much "tricking", "fooling" and "cooperating" with the stock ecu. Too many separate controllers f'ing w/ each other.
Maddening.
Agreed.
Some parts you have no choice...gotta go Toyota.
But I have no problem using an as good or better aftermarket part.
But I will not put inferior, cheap Chinese parts on my car, just not worth whatever you "think" you saved.
Only reason I mention this is because of the plethora...
