Great pics! How long were you there for? Flyin' 1st class ehh? Guess the Marines aren't as tough as I thought....JK... :icon_wink I'm flying home from Germany tomorrow and I'll be in coach...wishing I was in 1st...you lucky devil you...
I had the same problem not too long ago. I jumpered the fuel pump resistor to make it run a constant 12v and it cured my problem. But you should replace the fuel filter if it hasnt been done.
The guys that aligned/adjusted camber my car after my Eibach install were able to get the front to spec and the rear was out like .25 degrees. I go to Mr.Tire.
:withstupi Upgradedsupra's new set-up is amazing! I think it will easily make 700 remeber how much he gained from the dyno thats on 7mpower to the power he's making before the FFI? like 620hp and 651ft.lbs. Amazing.
That sucks about your car...some people just have no dignity.
The kill switch is the best idea IMO. I might look into that.
Hope you get her back in one piece!
I also was getting a code 31 but a replacement AFM fixed my problem. I wouldn't know what to tell you??? except go MAFT... haha I am fixing on going with the maft set up soon to get rid the head-ache that is the Kaarman Vortex do hicky. Hope you find the problem!
EDIT: did you test the wire...
I saw a MKIII exhaust that was two 2.5 in pipes running side by side from the cat back. I think Blitz made it a long time ago. It had a resonator on each pipe with no actual muffler or anything. it was pretty sweet.
Maybe OT but kinda along the same lines.
I would tend to think that alot of newer turbo cars coming out would have better stock FMICs then our cars have. IE evo8, srt, etc. Does anyone know how these IC measure up to our stockers?
My buddys got a blacktop SR and hes running 1 bar on the stock turbo and he can beat me pretty well...of course we haven't raced since I turned up the boost but that little bugger is quick. Its also completely stripped inside too. His mod list is full exhaust, Blitz intake, Blitz FMIC and a MBC.
Welcome! Seems like you already know a little bit about cars! Thats good to hear and congrats on your first supra! GL with the starter replacment! This board is a wealth of knowledge and insight...as well as a host to some of the foremost inovators for MKIII custom work. Enjoy your stay!
:withstupi I know theres been some controversy over that idea of swapping headbolts like that, but to me, it seems like it should work. I'm no authority or engine whiz, but I don' think the engine is gonna know the difference.
