If you're looking for a cheap turbo that can make good hp from the diesel world... hunt down a hy35w. Its got the smaller exhaust housing (9cm) than the typical hx40. It will spool around 3krpm and make up to 450hp if pushed hard enough.
But yes its a t3 flanged turbo.
Well there should be a "lock point" going left or going right on the wheel. When the steering wheel lock is engauged (sp?) there should be about 1/4" of an inch that you can force the wheel to the left or right. Should free the key right up...

Call Igor at clutch net (google it).
Tell him you want the pressure plate and a 6 puck sprung disk.
It will take some getting used to, but trust me its worth it. I have it in my car.
You'll also pay less than $500 for it, and it will hold horsepower all day long.
Amazing what giant shitboxes will do and acutally fly when fitted with fly by wire technology huh?
Now, take a mechanical system (A-10) and chop its wings, YES WINGS, off and that damn thing will bring our boys home every time!
