cheapest shock/spring combo you'll find is eibach springs and tokico hp shocks (also referred to as tokico 'blues'). that'll run minimum 400. you re-use the top shock mounts and the rubber bump stops from the stock shocks

it depends on your horsepower goals. eagle h beam rods are around 450, probe pistons/rings are around 400. or you can get wisecos for about 600-700.

Are you bypassing the clutch to start the car? I keep reading about crankwalk from the RPS 3200lb plate... I REALLY hope that's not it. Don't let me scare you though lol

I'm with IJ, it's more than likely a component of the pressure plate or clutch disk. One of the springs in the disc may be worn out, loose, or missing, too.

Ahh it's no problem. Closest one I know of is in Stevens Point, but that's about 7 hours round trip. I don't have a way to pay online and shipping a 100 lb item is quite costly.
