Something very similar happened to me once, the passenger can't be a witness and sadly since you were turning left chances are you'll be at fault even if you did have a green arrow :( Unless the other party admits to having a red light.

If you dont mind me asking, what kind of offsets/widths are your wheels? I'm looking at some +4 offset wheels and hope they won't stick out quite as much as yours :)

Nah, blocking it off would be taking away the nice things about it haha. The sacrifice in tone and sustain/annoying string changes having a floyd AND not being able to do little whammy bar tricks wouldn't make much sense :)

That ring broke on my shaft. I *think* it's what caused my rod knock but it could have broken during the engine teardown or something....

Good choice on getting a stock one, and unique color :D Too bad the Supra's going, but it's a nice replacement :)

Definitely remove it and make sure everything is dry, it's worth the time. Make sure the wiring and all bare metal is dry too. Plus you can do a real thorough cleaning while everything is out :)

:) looks all better now! I think maybe if one of the white clip-on tabs shifted on your molding it could be offset enough to cause the molding to bunch up like that. Was the molding area hit during the accident? When they reattached the clip they might not have aligned it quite right.

Chrome looks great, I'd keep it that way :)

I've heard of it stalling too but mine has never stalled and I've run it with an atmospheric BOV from day 1. I don't doubt it goes rich but it doesn't seem to have too much of an effect =\
