Supras use a vaccuum assisted brake, each time you use the brake you use a little bit of that vaccuum pressure.
It shouldnt get noticeably harder while your engines running though, maybe if you pump the pedal fast.
It draws the air/pressure from the rubber hose that runs...
If it turns out to be your harness I just found one of my old engine harnesses cleaning out my garage yesterday its from an 88 N/A. You can have it if you want.
The only part of it thats been cut is where I wired a new VSV plug since the old one broke.

If you've already taken the two bolts out then theres some little brackets that run along the lines you have to take off.
