    Funny Supra incidents

Those are pretty good, I was out showing off one day and floored it. Forgot the speaker box wasn't secured good enough and the forces made it slide all the way back and accidentally broke the positive fuel pump wire from the 12V mod I did and the motor just shut off. Really emabarrasing trying...

Oil psi Sensor and a few other questions...

Just remember that if you pull the old oil pressure sending unit out that the thread pitch is different than what usually comes in the gauge kits. I put in an autometer unit and didn't know this and it leaks a bit right now. I went on autometer's sight and found the adapter fitting for this...

    air in heater core

Yes raise the front end as high as you can get it. Run with cap off and you will see the bubbles come out. I don't know how long you need to run it but I would think until a continuous flow of fluid comes out, then top off and try it. Or you might have the dreaded BHG if you hear gurgling...

    Front Wheel Bearings Replacement Advice

Yea I figured going back in would be easy seeing as you can use the impact gun to snug it up. I will have to remember this for future reference. I broke a wheel stud on my last spindle and because of the ABS pulling the hub was the only way to replace but after hearing what the dealer said I...

    Front Wheel Bearings Replacement Advice

How long did it take to get out with just using an air hammer? The dealer wanted way to much money to do it and then said they didn't have the bearings once they did get it out so I just bought a used spindle off the board here. So far no problems

    fuel pump hardwire?

I have my shit running off the same wire and the only problem I ran into is on long trips the relay for the pump will quit working after shutting down the car. Of course I have the 12V relay mod done. So I just have a spare relay I swap out and bam I got fuel pressure again. I might put a...

    auto trans temp

When I added my external B&M cooler I got there special holder that allows you to put a temp sender in it. I just added the gauge to the 5 I already have. This oil cooler has a fan that turns on when the oil temps reach about 210 and shuts off whey they have gone down to I think 165. So far...

Tookwik's 7M-GTE COP ignition mod w/ stock electronics...pics and writeup

I have had no problems with it and I have had them on there for almost a year now. I also took a trip this past summer from Charleston, SC all the way up to the northern part of Ohio with no problems other than a fuel pump relay. which isn't related to the COP mod. I think the guy who posted...

    Valve lash measurement results.

I bought a brand new rebuilt head from Dallas and my valves were out of whack also. I called up bitchin and they said once I find out the exact specs of the shims that they would send them to me no charge. Sure enough they sent them with no problems. I also suggest getting the special tool to...

    Question for the pros

Just remember the thread pitch might be different. I installed a Autometer oil pressure sending unit and it leaked a bit. Then I found out on the other forum that the thread pitch was different and I had to buy an adapter from autometer. Have not put in on yet as I am deployed in the desert...

    coilover options

I got Eibach 1200 pd in the front and 900 in the rear, but I race mine in autox meets and want it stiff. I wonder if you could fit the Eibach spring on one of the other Tein shocks? I got a cheap ass coilover kit off Ebay and just ordered the heavy duty springs from Eibach. It works for now...
