I mounted 3 Prosports in my cluster its not really hard just time consuming. Start by removing everything from the cluster to just the white plastic case then test fit the gauge with the black surround. That will give you an idea where to cut. You will be doing alot of cutting and test-fitting...

I would emphasize the rarity of the engine. Is it R154? new water pump, clutch, paint condition, hardtop (good to me), gear ratio blah blah blah whatever is a highlight
In my own experience I have had good luck with JDM engines. Honestly the type of engine you purchase matters as well. I imported a 7MGE for my first rodknocked supra and only changed the oil pump nothing else when i swapped, it ran great no BHG. If you import a 7M I would do oil pump/headgasket...
