From memory, I seen that flex plate, torque converter, bellhousing, and pump (maybe just shaft) need to be kept with the engine they came with, then we can attach the TT box.
Interesting info about A650 pump
Yes, 2JZGTE A340 has a 5 bolt planetary gear system. I think we can swap the two boxes, with some modification (retaining everything in the 7MGTE A340 from pump to flexplate), the bigger one is to have a custom driveshaft to be made.
Actually here are differential ratios, that are valid for EUDM at least (we made a list we some local members to confirm this except for 3.25 and 4.556)
3.25 = 39/12 = MA70 Group A (Special race class)
3.727 = 41/11 = code G305 = MA70 3.0 GT turbo
3.909 = 43/11 = code G315 = GA70 M/T, most...
I strongly disagree with this disagreement. (:p)
Actually, I work as an electrical engineering manager for a supplier of emergency diesel generator in nuclear power plants.
Not every single part is actually tested. Every single part that play a role in the nuclear safety is at least FEA tested...
As I attach the 2JZ A340 to a 7M using the A70 body I won't have problem with linkages, so I can't help there.
For the speedo, IIRC, a converter is needed.
Sorry SideWinder, My explanation weren't detailled enough.
I edit my post then:
So no, unfortunatly you can't attach a 2JZ...
I tried a340 from 2jzgte mk4 to 7mgte mk3
Bell housing, torque converter and flex plate, oil pump, will swap from the mk3 gearbox to the mk4 one. That's needed as the mk4 a340 won't attach to the 7mgte
Interesting internals (clutch pack) won't swap from mk4 a340 to mk3 a340
Output shaft won't...
I probably mispell my sentence or didn't understood your first question..
I built my 7M in the high clearance specs, and need xxW40 or even 50 to achieve 0.8 bars at HOT idle, and 0.8 bars more each 1000 rpm steps. These 0.8 bars (11.6 PSI) are fine to me.
I opened the clearance using standard...
I don't know about him (and didn't read pump was shimed for idle pressure), but ratings are nothing if you don't know the specific clearances.

I wish I had...
As everything is fine, it's fine and engine starts, or ECU is toasted.
Also, how do you kow injectors don't pulse? is it by measuring voltage? That remind me this:
and my mistake:
Actually, injectors are (should be) wired in serial with resistor box, and they shouldn't see a full 12V.
Mine...
I will get pictures tomorrow for you.
I have the rear speaker grille and tonneau cover on, no problems.
My Flex are the Control Master series I believe, if that makes a difference.
Having 12v on both sides shows injector is OK.
ECU job is to ground the side where you have 0V when unplugged from the injector.
For everything else this:
Check and set CPS and TPS.
I guess you already read this: http://www.megamanual.com/flexfuel.htm
You want about 42% more fuel when on 100% E85
Adding 3-5° timing seems a good starting point.
