fastest youve ever been in a car.

5th gear. Speedo is inaccurate at that speeds. It is built optimistic. That is aproximately 126 mph. I remember it indicating about 131.

    Turbocharger discussion

I would suggest a smallish Garrett GT for that little ass engine. And rebuild it first. High cylinder pressure is not what Honda had in mind.

Democracy=bad. Mob rule=bad, don't belive it? Ask a minority someplace about majority rule.

Displacement does not effect psi, it effects the response. The wastegate will control max pressure. A Honda is a great daily driver. Cheap on fuel, and they rarely break. But being old, it will need maintenance.

BHG'ed, Does $2k Sound Like the Right Price?

Studs are done to even out the clamping force when you over torque the fastener compared to what the manufacturer says. If this is a daily driver, and you are not looking for 400rwhp, the factory composite gasket is just fine with bolts torqued to 72 lb/ft, with proper tuning. The deck and...

fastest youve ever been in a car.

Time for another RPM vs speed explination. With a 3.91 rear and an R154 in the 87-88, the fuel cut speed is just short of 170 mph, as indicated in Adjusters claim, with stock tire diameter. 5500 RPM with stock tire diameter is approximately 140 mph. RPM= trans ratio x diff ratio x mph x...

    What's your favorite movie/T.V. car

KITT = The original ricer. Wing, body kit, ridiculous sound effects, and bogus technology.

    Quick question

The main problem is being concerned with hearing ricer sounds from your engine.

BS? 15psi @ 2000 rpm with "special" headwork?

15 psi from a TD05 maybe. This does not seem realistic. The theory is completely plausible, just not with our setup. Most heavy duty power plants make that much by 1500 RPM.
