Yes you do. Up there in Wisconsin, you don't have enforcement of the clean air act because there are more older cars than newer cars. The penalty (fine) for removing emission control equipment is quite steep. The catalytic converter being the steepest. Not that I care what you do with your car...

    OEM Toyota Filter Info

I don't think 08922-02011 is 90915-YZZG1. The part number supercedes because it is a replacement part. I think. Neither one is really worthy buying knowing there is much better full flows on the market. I have one still. I will cut it open and then dubs can add it to his thread. Around May...

    Strange electrical issue

Most battery manufacturers claim 12.2V is discharged. Discharged doesn't mean bad.

I like the S4 also. Twin turbo V6 or the 4.2V8, either way. The problem is, I can jam far more stuff in my Yukon.

HKS fcon/gcc/vpc combo -- fcon switch/option out not working?

The PFC-Fcon modifies the output signal to the injectors. The VPC replaces the KV meter and similates the Hz signal. They don't need each other. However, I would have guessed them to operate closed loop when you install that GCC.

    MKIII 89' parasitic drain

Optima is going the wrong way. They are good at resisting heat and vibration (top battery killers), but suck at producing cranking amps. You could have replaced a weak battery with a low quality unit. Have you checked the charging system? Or does this happen over a few days when it sits? If so...

    What to put below radio?

No, he didn't. I haven't seen an aftermarket radio that didn't have a metal adapter with holes for the screws to hold it in place. You must take the bezel off to get it out and install correctly.

    The controller for the EBC.

    Ammo sources

A MKIII forum member wanting to know who is low bid on something. I am shocked... Anyway, I don't reload so get mine from SSA. http://www.ssarmory.com/tacticalloads.aspx Wilson Combat has got in the game so I will do some testing of his stuff. I expect it to be accurate and fast...

    88 Supra Cold Start

    1. Go to a self service car wash and use the high pressure hose with soap to clean the salt residue from your car. 2. Leave the rust belt 3. Get rid of the fart can, it sounds and looks bad. That is what I think.

    7M-GE ACIS Reference Thread

No. It depends on how it would fail, but a likely scenario is the solenoid on the VSV freezing. The default position of the valve is open. The car would be a little sluggish down low, then take off in the upper range.

A picture of the deck of the cylinder head and block would be nice.

HKS fcon/gcc/vpc combo -- fcon switch/option out not working?

Huh. You would think they would "talk" to each other. So basically, the VPC is installed, then the PFC-FCon modifies that signal? Seems like 3 left turns to go right. All because 3P didn't decode 3 decades ago.

tore down motor, got a couple questions about my pistons.

If the piston was knocking, it would be obvious and have scoring. Same with the cylinder. Some carbon on top is not abnormal. Especially if you never blow out the cobwebs, so to speak.

    7mgte AEM Sequential injector wiring

On Toyota, 12V is constant, the PCM supplies the ground. As pointed out in post two. No comment on AEM strategy. I thought the AEM was plug and tune, and you plug it into the cars harness. Is that not correct?
