I am a bit skeptical of the effectiveness of water to air IC systems. I've seen no comparison tests on them, and the cooling chambers seem too small with such small surface-to-air ratios.
...and that hood makes it look like a Tonka truck :)
So all the talk about the factory x-bracing is false!? A full-size tinted moonroof would be so sweet!! I seriously want one. Maybe with a pull-blind canvas for privacy too :) How would one go about making a piece of lexan or glass that has the curve of the factory roof?
How much do you figure...
I really wish the rear fenders were modeled after the Kaze or S2's. Tasteful, and following the factory lines. It would save me the fortune I'm going to have to spend to get my set from Japan.
I was doing some calculations for my widebody, and a 315 Falken tire on my 10.5" rim will be quite level with the rim (maybe a 1/4" bulge) This size might be good on your 12" rim if you want a bit of stretch to clear the fenders but still have some serious meat on the road.
Hey guys, the current plan is to drop off the car with Randy(BIC) in the next month or 2 for a full body overhaul, including the hinges and custom widebody. It will be hot, I guarantee it! I'll try to get some pics during the install so you can see how it fits.
Yes, it is the cat's ass for rusted nuts.
Duralube and Slick 50 lied in their ads(and were sued by the FTC). Bi-Tron is the only product that actually does this. Here's the videos of where we tested brand new bottles of duralube and slick 50 and they failed miserably...
If it was mine, I'd squirt this product in there to un-seize it (the product demo'd after the WD40) http://www.echowavepro.com/SG_MED/SG256_WD40.wmv
and then get a long bar on the crank pulley.
It's big here in the maritime provinces in Canada where the deep freezes hit hard and lots of truckers and farmers love the help with cold starts. If I could figure out a way to chill it that cold and heat it that hot and show that it still works, might be an idea for another video. I'm sure...
My car was on jackstands for a couple of weeks as I was dreading swapping out the broken Torsen diff. Did it yesterday in record time and was boosting hard in beautiful weather today. SOOO worth it! Just get it done, and drive it for a while. I don't want to be building my car forever. I want to...
The microscopic peaks and valleys smooth out under load/pressure, since they slide over each other without friction. Otherwise, if the metal does make contact, it just rips up/grinds/roughens up the metal even more.
It is not like the product called "Restore" which supposedly adds metal or...
By the way, one of the best ways to test this product is to use it in a differential with noisy, worn out roller bearings (i.e. pinion or carrier). This is characterstic of a steady droning vibration or howling noise that can get quite loud on the highway, plus there will be lots of metal...
Understandable! BTW, have we met at one of the meets JoeC? I am truthful about helping out the community. For a short time I'm actually selling to the local Vancouver guys at my wholesale cost, straight up. I'm selling Dan a one-car pack at cost to preserve his new ride (400+ HP GReddy...
I'll talk to head office and let them know there is a demand for newer lab test results. I'm sure they'd be impressive.
I am convinced Slick 50 is a rip off. It contains PTFE (teflon) particles that Dupont and NASA have tested and shown to actually cause more damage than good by blocking oil...
