My little cuz has a friend who recently built a s2k... spent 30k and the engine is still stock... has these bolt on body kits, neon streetglow, vinyl "cf" taped to the car, some loudass fartcan... and a remote starter... i think that pretty much defines rice... LOL
hmmm ic ic... looks like it worked for you!! and I see you have a good cutoff... but I am no expert so don't quote me on that lmao... and I presume ppl don't flash you?
So you read it all the time... "that's so rice" or "Stay away from the rice" etc etc... Since I am currently undergoing a resto/rebuild I am curious as to how the community defines "RICE". Is it an overindulgence in cosmetic mods? Flamboyant light kits? How do YOU define "rice"??
haha I...
I think your taillights and parking lights are on the same circuit thingy... cuz they both come one when the switch is turned ?one notch? .... someone please correct me if im wrong...
Looks good!! what kinda projector and housing did you use? I envision mine would look something like that... have you thought of a custom plastic molding for the housing? and how did you mod the height of the headlights?
btw whats up with ur tires?? why so far in? =O
Thanks!! I think the mod works as long as you have the f/l spliced into any 12v source.. like the guy in this read-up http://www.supras.com/06/techcenter/display.php?QID=41 used his taillights... which I think is what I would choose as well
yeah I saw the pics of the NSX mod by survyor2 in the HIDplanet forums...:

same kinda deal i think here... lotsa cutting and fitting plus a custom cf mount as well... uber clean...
that'y my impression... buy the kit from them and fabricate a housing that'll fit the projectors and also fit inside the headlight housing... I'm not sure how deep the projectors will sit in the housing... also I'm pretty sure the arm that moves the headlights up/down needs to be modified since...
awesome!! once I finally get my freaking parts I will take a look at the f/l mod... seems alot of ppl have done it. just got my new radiator cap to replace my leaky one... and a new oil cap both from hks... looks pretty nice, but kinda sticks out since my engine bay is not at that level of looks...
whoa... I thought I wrote alot LOL jk its not that bad... at least you have well defined goals :D... anyways seems you just hit a bit of foul luck, but I'm sure you'll enjoy your restoration like I am mine. with bhg... seems you have an excuse to upgrade sooner than later... I got lucky and have...
Ohhh so we are just using the 12v ground form the defogger... but as gota7mgte mentions... will turning on the defogger drain the battery even more?.. man i must sound like an idiot asking all these redundant questions... :( i just like to be extra sure about what I might be doing with wiring...
Yep... money is the biggest issue. Once I get to the point where I'm going to be undertaking big ticket body mods and I have the money, I'll def give the retro lights a shot... maybe put their bi-xenon fx-r stage 4 kit inside a clear housing... but I want to get the dual look somehow... ha two...
::w00t:: pm sent!! man... cali weather is deciding to go bad apparently... gonna need to take over the garage lmao =O

agh that news about everdrive... sucks man, they had a really big selection of jdm...
I think so... but none of those threads had actual solutions... that I could see... hence I started this one and speaking of which here's another great site... just gotta figure out how to use their projectors with the popup lights...

for...
I thought about that... but tbh I'm not sure that will give the best results and stay legal at the same time (referring to beam pattern of course...) now if there was a way to stuff a hella 90mm bi-xenon assembly in there that'd be cool...
well after more research... perhaps they do not fit the bill... :(
