to swap a 1J into a pre89 you need BIC Motor Mount Brackets. $175 and works with both 89+ motor mounts or pre89 motor mounts.

i'm taking ^ that route because i rather have a bitchy time putting the harness in a good place rather then, have a bitchy time extending the harness manually. Just took my stock harness out of the cabin. Total 5 minutes to get the glove box off, ecu out, and pull harness through hole.

sure the 88 isn't an 89? The 89+ years have round mounts and the pre89 have square. If their both round they have the new mounts.

I have that disk & pp, its rated at 405 ft lb of tq. Should be good but we'll see i plan on using it with a BPU seutp and hopefully graduate to a 450whp car by mid 08 i got mine from drift motion and i can vouch for them :) great people great site (see sig)
