So judging by that at 100 yds I shouldn't have to adjust the scope at all. I'm still new to the whole balistics charts.
The best groups out of the 700 VTR I've seen have been shot with 178g A-max that were handloaded at 2400fps. the guy shot a .089" group at 100 yds
I'm nowhere near...
There was no power shok left at any of the gun stores in the area or I would have gotten more, our local stores are severly lacking on any ammo. And I'm going hunting for hog tommorow. Thats why I was wondering on just a rough estimate on scope adjustment.
I've got some 165g Federal Gold...
I sighted my rifle in on 150g ammo but my hunting ammo I just got is 180g how much do you think I should adjust mu scope for the new ammo (its 1/4 moa adjustments). I don't have ready access to a range before I'm going out hunting or i'd just re-zero it in.
I know I should have sighted it in...
So I decided to buy a Remington 700 VTR in .308win instead of a hand gun. It should be at the gun store for me to pick up tomorrow. What kind of scope do you guys think I should get for it, I'm looking to spend less than 200 preferably. I was looking at the Leupold rifleman series of scopes.
I was looking at the new xDm9 but I've held them in person and it seems likes it would be to big for me to conceal easily. I dont know if the old xD's are the same size or not though so that might be an option. And I'll have to look into the S&W, thanks for the info.
I'm looking to buy a pistol to carry when I get my tax return back. I was looking at either the SIG Sauer SP2022 or a Walther P99, both in 9mm. I already mailed all the info for my carry permit I'm just waiting to get it in now. I was just curious if any of you guys know anything about either of...
The head desing may be great but it costs so much money to get them reliable with any kind of boosted power. The factory internals suck and you have to sleeve them to put anything else in them. I was going to boost mine but I figured it would be cheaper to build a project car. Its a cool concept...
Its a s13 240 sx with a H22 out of a 90's honda prelude with a transmission out of a s2000.
I found this on posted on another forum by someone who found it on another forum so I know nothing about the car othet than that. But I do think its pretty damn cool just because of how different it is.
This is amazing if you can make it past the first 20 seconds.
