Can you shoot me a copy of your file? PM me for my email address if you're willing to hook me up with that. I'll at least talk to my dude and see what my price and wait period looks like. If I can get a copy of that file and somebody can hook me up with real numbers for the rings, I can get this...
All you need is the rings, right? Take some measurements, and I'm sure somebody can get them made. If somebody can give me exact measurements for the rings, I'll get them made. I just don't have the time to produce the entire kit right now especially if wesbeech can get it done cheaper. I'm...
Thanks!
Since wesbeech appears to be making things happen over there, I'm not going to worry about reproducing the nightpager brackets. I've got a few other things going on right now which are going to be getting between me and my Supra, but I'm going to keep experimenting with other brake...
I'm not overlooking this, trust me. :) I want to get all the parts in front of me and see how it all lines up, which is easy because I work in auto parts. The contact patch for the 300ZX caliper on the 350Z track rotor is a little scary too, imo. My primary goal is to see if these calipers can...
The important part is that Axxis makes their "Ultimate" ceramic/kevlar pad for them. :) I've been running those for two years on my stock brakes with brembo rotors and besides the fade after a stop or two from 120mph, it's the best braking performance I've ever hoped for. If a more efficient...
My key for my 88 worked in my friends 87. Nobody's key but mine works in my 91. :) And yes, the keys and locks were redesigned for the 89+ models.

They are from a 1991 - 1995 4Runner 3.0 V6 and 1993 - 1998 T100 4WD. Cost is about $50 + core. I'll let you all know what I discover about this caliper. In the mean time, I'm going to get working on the 300ZX brake kit. I'll talk to my machinist tomorrow and firm things up.

Alright guys, I'm prepared to start reproducing the "nightpager" brackets along with the proper centering rings to accommodate the 350Z track rotors. This should be a fairly straight forward process since I'll have brackets to start with for cloning purposes and the rings will be easy to measure...
Can I please get the dimensions of your rings? :) I'm assuming this means that the rings are now pressed on to the front hubs so that aftermarket rotors fit like they were stock?
Alright, I'll PM wesbeech, and I'll give my machinist a call tomorrow and make sure everything is in line. I just want to make sure that I'm not duplicating efforts here since wesbeech claims to already have a usable blueprint. I'll have to wait for the parts to get to me, set them up and make a...
Yeah, I'm only talking about the dimensions of the centering rings. Nobody seems to be able to make up their mind on what size the rings need to be to properly center the 350Z rotor on our hubs, so I was just going to measure for myself.
Are you still willing to let me borrow your setup so...
Honestly since nobody can agree on what size they need to be I was just going to pick up a set of 350Z track rotors and measure for myself then send the specs to the machinist. That way I know they'll be correct.
You've got the right idea, but for something like brakes, I want it to be...
I like the nightpager kit option for this reason too. I work at an autoparts store, and I like knowing that it will be just as easy finding parts for my new brake setup as it was for the old ones. This setup may not be as good as a BBK with Wilwood calipers, but I think it will work great for me...
I was thinking the exact same thing... I can also think of worse things to do than a functional hood and wing. The end pieces of the stock wing need to go, though.
