Guess I'll slum it down here for a bit ;)
Dunno if this will help but wire color and pins numbers aside the schematic above is correct. That's how it should be wired.
Your shop is smart. Yes, it'll stay in there and show up until you change the oil. After that you should put new dye in. There is no better way to find leaks. Dye in the cooling system is even more useful. I use the stuff that's bright visible green and UV traceable in both and keep it in there...
Glad you got it figured out. Sorry I couldn't stop in. Turns out that runway is below insurance limits for the jet anyway. Too bad, because my smoke machine would have found the problem in seconds.
As AJ pointed out idle is ECU controlled. Assuming the throttle plate is fully closed (verify it is) the only other idle air paths are the PCV system and idle speed control valve.
Try plugging the PCV inlet on the throttle body and pinching off or plugging the idle hose ahead of the valve. The...
Jackson is in Amador County. That means he's in what's called a "change of ownership area". Those areas perform the old 2 speed idle test which means his car will not be placed on a dyno or tested for NOx emissions.
Furthermore it will not need to be tested again until he sells it to someone...
The clamps aren't constant tension, corrode, damage hoses, leak, on and on. Toyota used CT for a reason: they're superior. Hard to put on? Invest in the right tools. Makes it a cinch (pun intended) even in tight places.
Cuel: You're welcome. It's a DMC-12. Fiero? You must think I'm crazy ;)
The stock ECU does remain in closed loop under part throttle boost but I've never seen one do it past about 3 psi. If you have airflow controller I suspect it's been adjusted to offset some other problem. Could be a TPS issue too. Those are guesses though.
That said it's nothing to worry about...
^ Lmao. Now that makes sense.
You can't argue with drunken men Charles, especially when they're immature, self centered, and have egos so frail and penises so small they need a machine to bolster them when they encounter each other on public streets.
You be welcome. As you read ECD is the primary cause behind hose failure. Good job on inspecting and finding that. You might want to split that guy down the middle after it's off for a look-see.
You don't need to replace the coolant as the damage was likely done by the last stuff that was in...
