I don't know much about swapping a 1J in.. but i do know is that you do not want to start a swap with an engine only. It will take alot of time and money to find all the little parts that you will need in the end.

for a 7m just a motor will be fine.

Don't boost to high on the stock high compresstion though.

Compresstion test the engine to make sure you dont have a BHG first.

I wouldnt buy a 1j like that.. you should buy a whole front clip.

Why not go 2j?? if it is running well it will cross 300 hp with little or no mods.

umm if you have a late model 89 it will work. or else you will need a 90+ crossmember or custom engine mounts.

You cant just drop in a 1j though. there are alot of supporting parts needed.
