    Sensor questions

Thought the MAP sensor said "MAP" on it somewhere? Looks to me that is your stock boost pressure sensor. The stock gauge needs this, mine threw a code when we didn't have it plugged in. Thing's useless anyway, but... As for the second one, my thoughts are either on CAS (crank angle sensor) or...

    1J on engine stand/bolts

I worked for the vendor that supplies HD with their bolts for 3 years... I wouldn't recommend them personally, unless you're getting the grade 8 bolts, but they don't sell any hardened metric bolts there. Let's just say that a pair of snips is all it takes to snap their lesser bolts, I would NOT...

    So...thinking of buying another supra

N/a Supras DO make excellent DD's, I second this suggestion. I have daily driven all three of the Supras I've had for extended periods of time, they're a lot of fun and certainly unique. Suspension, tires, brakes, and stereo (nothing fancy or 'go fast' parts) were all I did to my 88, and I loved...

    Can't get hatch open

This one's fairly simple guys. I adjusted mine a bit last time I had my interior apart. 1: Get in your trunk, face the rear of the car. 2. Take your philips screwdriver and remove the 7 screws (well, was 7 when the factory put it there) on the panel between the two really big panels that...

Has anyone done any pedal modifications/replacements?

There's an adjustment you can do to the brake pedal height. I did this on my car, had a writeup on AZSC, but it's probably been lost in the shuffle over the years. The adjustment info is in the TSRM if you take a look for yourself. I'm headed to bed soon, but if you don't find it before I get...

rebuilt motor slower than bhg'ed motor!

Your TEMS adjusts based on throttle, brake, and steering inputs. Mine did the same thing, it's getting ready for Han to give Chewie the 'punch it' command. :p

    Coilover feedback needed

I've driven on the Megan Tracks for about 12-15 months, I really have no complaints. Could they be better? Probably, but what can't? For the price they'll do quite a bit, from 4x4+ height and softness, to stupidly low and stiff. :)

    2JZ-GE high power

From what I've seen over the years, there are two ways to get high power levels without boost. High revs, or big displacement. Ideally, you want both. Get a Chevy LS, and build it to withstand 8000rpm. Pretty sure you'd have to be inhuman not to enjoy that. :)

    So...thinking of buying another supra

Whatever you do... don't put yourself in a financial bind over a car, especially if you already have two good running ones. Ask me how I know thiSS. And no, my caps lock isn't stuck. ;)

Custom rear speaker enclosure and targa holder relocation.

Never thought to put the roof behind me in the rear seat... wouldn't really work with a cage in the way though, so my roof goes to the trunk as it's my only other option haha. I'll probably end up posting up a thread of what I'd doing with my rear seat eventually though. Need to take some...

    Weapon R Intake? For 7MGE?

I wouldn't bother with an intake on an n/a anyway, kinda pointless. It's like trying to power a tugboat with a VW Golf motor. See what I did there? :p

    MKIII towing

All depends on how fast you wanna go. I've used my Mk3 to tow my SS on a couple occasions. Wasn't particularly fast going or very far, but it gets the job done. I have no doubt that my old Miata would have been able to limp home dragging a Mk3 if need be, but it was geared to climb mountains, so...

rebuilt motor slower than bhg'ed motor!

My old roommate had the best bit of wisdom I've ever heard concerning this topic: "A Supra always runs it's best right before dying." Mine ran awesomely right before the 7m bhg'd itself a couple years back...

    HELP Please

You're trying to fix THAT?:runaway::wtf: Seriously man, what could you possibly do to fix that car? I don't mean to come across as an asshole, but... look underneath the car. I just don't see how that couldn't have killed the frame. :(

    HID Help

Poodles, you're saying a 5x7 clear glass housing is all we need on our cars to retrofit HID's in? That's what I was thinking, just trying to collect some experience here... Wouldn't need the reflective backing on the inside of the housing either, being projector lenses, would we?

    So...thinking of buying another supra

I'd say you're set as is, personally. I have 1 fast car (the Mk3) and one reliable car (the Mk2). I can daily either (that's part of my goal with my 'fast' car, to make it 100% daily driven no matter what I do to it), but it's nice to have the peace of mind that if something DOES happen to the...
