Yeah, I guess I shouldn't complain. I can't wait to see the nice asses on the beach by the blue water when I get there. Good tip on the dark sunglasses. I can check out the ass without getting busted so much.
David, did you peep this out...
Maybe somebody broke the original one and went with one that he had on hand. I'd stick to the OG one myself.
I will be on vacation next week around Playa del Carmen http://www.karismahotels.com/resort/azul-fives-hotel-karisma . This will be my fourth time going to Cancun, but I'm not...
Ok, my days off have come and gone. What have I accomplished on my Supra? Not a damn thing! What... are you suprised? I've been pretty busy with the family. When I did have time it was too damn hot to even go outside.
David, that's sounds like a good price for all six. Go for it...
That does sound like RK. As mentioned earlier check crank pulley bolt & belt tensioner pulley for any excessive play. Then while idling remove one spark plug wire at a time from the coil pack and see if the noise goes away.
I had my engine rebuilt for $832.
New used Crankshaft was cut 10/10,
Connecting Rods resized & shot peened
New Engine Bearings
Rotating assembly was balanced
Bored 0.020 over
New Pistons & Rings
Freeze Plugs
New Fasteners
Block Decked with timing cover
Hot tanked and painted black...
I need to get a bung and install this. Also need to find out where's the best place to put it.
Sometime in the next three days I'm gonna try to paint my front bumper and side mirrors. I know it's going to be hot as hell the next couple of days but I've got to get it done.
What if it's just a HG failure to one of the waterjackets? Buying another JDM engine would be a waste. Why not tear it down and find out for sure first?
In the vid you mentioned "the 100mph speed limit comes up quick". Does that mean you guys were only allowed to go as fast as 100mph?? Or was it unlimited MPH?
Why not pop the vavle covers, grab a feeler gauge, and measure your clearances? Any that are out of spec, replace the shim with a correct size one to put it back to clearance. Rids the valvetrain tick.
I had the same problem one time. Ticking on idle, squealing under boost. Turned out to be a wornout exhaust manifold gasket.
Change that first since you already know you have an exhaust leak. If that fixes it good. If not then worry about what else it could be.
I had the same problem as you do not too long ago. I swore up and down that the clutch disc wasn't in backwards. I "quadruple" checked it before mating them together. I ended up replacing the clutch slave and master cylinders, and bleeding it many times over before I pulled the transmission...
