Got some good progress done today on the front.
I started taking off front body panels to facilitate my access, as well as reduce my workload when I start on the bodywork stage:
Removed old busted Kaminari bumper:
Then the header panel, bumper reinforcement and grill:
Then the inner and...
I for one would possibly be interested in this upgrade.
I already have 560cc EVO injectors, and they work great. I too have replaced my original plugs on my harness to EV-1 style.
However, I am building a new engine, and I have a brand new oem harness in the bag, and I really don't wish to hack...
You need it.
I would say you could get away with driving with your busted one at low rpm for the couple of days it takes you to get a replacement, but that's it.
That's assuming, of course that the busted section doesn't rip up your accessory belt in the meantime.
Hell- Mr. Bojangles is offering...
Rear subframe/ suspension: DONE
Oops- I guess I have to adjust the ride height back there...:biglaugh:
Next- the second half of stage 1: Front suspension
Remove front subframe
Remove upper and lower arms
Powdercoat lower arms and replace all bushings with Energy Suspension
Replace steering...
Getting there...
Subframe in, Shocks, Ebrakes, and halfshafts connected.
Tomorrow, I'll finish reconnecting the brake lines and driveshaft, and then I'll turn the car around so I can begin on the front suspension and brake upgrade.

Lightweight crank pulleys are a point of contention; It is said by many that the oem crank pulley(vibration dampener) is necessaryto reduce harmful vibrations. ATI is the only universally recommended crank pulley that I've seen.As for those mods, I would certainly say you can hit at least 260hp...
VPR131-What are your mods?
You have to have some sort of fuel mods in order to 'tune' on the dyno.
If you're talking about a nearly stock setup, then I'd say you won't pass 275hp
I'm looking to do this upgrade, but the calipers I have did not come with the original mounting brackets that hold the caliper. Did anyone have this problem, and if so, where did you source the brackets? I'm not talking about the Doward bracket adapters that fit them to the Supra, but rather the...
Aside from a sandy rear bumper, this black supra looked and sounded sweet.
Bomex kit, rear JDM visor and 2.5 JZA badging makes me assume it's been swapped to 1JZ.
When I obscured the tag, I screwed up the right side of the bumper- Sorry, owner. :icon_bigg
