from what i have heard, ACIS combinds a short runner and a long runner, and opens it up under certain conditions(Throttle possition and rpm), and is activated by vaccum. it has been tried and proven that when closed all the time, you loose top end and when open all the time, you loose bottom...

noone has also mensioned that the back seats in a supra are practically useless. i sat in one for over 5 hours one day (to and from E-town end of year event) and it was the most uncomfortable seating arangment to be in. i wouldnt wish for my wort enemy to be crammed in the back seat of a supra!

ebay, the manifold is ~600 and the supercharged motor from a MKII chaser can be had for ~800. then comes the EMS which costs however much u want to spend.

around 200 HP and 200 TQ at the flywheel stock IIRC. whats nice is the fact that toyota made a supercharged version of this motor AND HKS made(and is replicated) a t04 manifold. can we say twincharged and a 10k redline?!?

i have a 2 sudjestions for you, and you may not like it. buy an old school VW bug, drop in the STI motor after you buy a transaxle adaptor and put it up to a built bus or bug transaxle. you should then have a sub 12 sec car. the seats you could mod to fit as well. or buy an old subaru...
