i have some questions about it before i make any more decisions. I want to know how easy it is to install and how easy it is to make it work using speed density. im still not sure where things would connect such as the boost controller and the map sensor since i havent really seen any good...

i have been contemplating in going with the pnp AEM EMS and selling the map ecu 2...im still not 100% sure tho, only because i never got to try out the map ecu 2 because of my car's issues.

ok installed the "new" harness today, theres a wire loose on the ecu side that is brown with dark spots on it, doesnt go to any plugs, im pretty sure it needs to be grounded or something...so i tried grounding it and cranking....got code 11.... any ideas?

strip the shit out of it and put a 350 in there...

all hac sensors are for 87-88's because the 89+ have it built in. i can ship it out monday for $10shipped.

you'll have to find a replacement, i have an extra if u need it...

it connects and its located there, its on the rail where the glove box screws into, on the right corner. its black and says HAC on it heh.

its on the bottom of where the glove box screws onto...has a plug with 2 wires...1 wire is blue with a red stripe. u can trace the blue wire back into the harness.

yea use a diff. place to upload it.

tried diff. vpc unti, diff. roms....

tried ecu on diff. car, tried diff. ecu

welp i tried the vpc with the field harness and its built in resistors and nothing...same problem...im really getting fustrated, my last resort is a diff. wiring harness. if that doesnt work...AEM here i come.

missed out on this thread for some reason..very nice build, what cam gears are those? they look familiar but im not quite sure...

damn if it wasnt such a short notice i woulda got a caravan to go up there for support...

using the map sensor that the vpc brought...before i had the field harness with the resistors and crap built into it but i sold that setup and got the map ecu2...but then i got my hands on another vpc and the problem was still there... i dun have the safc 2 anymore...just the vpc.
