lol, we are now out 2 running MKIIIs in southern CT, so....this is going to get a little hard for me and boostin. hopefully we can get one up and running, or get someone else to let us use their car.

im wishing they had prices up, so i know how much i need to save. lilmissmkiii agreed to call dellow with a price list for everything i need to run a r154 behind the 1uz, so when i know, you all will know.

yeah, you need to pound away at the firewall for the 2nd turbo to clear IIRC.

im not looking for DRs, as the car will be used for "spirited" driving through some turns and whatnot, with the occasional drag or highway pull. they would be mounted on 18s (i think they are either 18x8 or 18x8.5). oh, i also wanted something with good treadwear, somethinng that wont die in...

true, but have you seen the price of the v160s and the v160 adapting hardware? ill use what is in my car, instead of worrying about $ of the tranny and the price of a custom ds, along with the fact that the 373 gears are STILL too tall for the v160. my r154 will hold what my goals are.

check the vendors section. there are a ton of options, including a stroker setup.

depending on what bellhousing adaptor (or custom bellhousing) you can run any transmission. people have bolted them up to w58s r154s and v160s and put them in supras. they make adaptors to bolt them to virtually anything. cj has his bolted to a w58, and if i do it it will be bolted to an r154
