+1, except that i payed to get em done. a nice drop (about 5ish inches between frame and ground) good price (TY MDC) and great performance.
you want good cheap coilovers, look in 935s folder for the megan vs k-sport thread. do your research, do it once and do it right.
worked with jonoturbo over the summer and looked at a few z cars for sale. then i found out that his friend was selling this 1989 NA white supra with burgandy interior for sale. went and looked at it at work, and withing a week gave him cash.
the MKIII fit the bill for what i was looking for, a good project that was RWD and either a sports car or a GT car. it is still a project car, but i prefer to drive it more than my dd. if i wanted a MKIV i would have saved up and bought one.
i wouldnt geta MKIV, but thats just me not liking the body style, or the pricetag for a car that is over 9 years old. ide buy something cheap and reliable as a DD and restore and build the MKIII with the remaining 10ish grand.
how much u lookin to spend?
i reccomend privat profil gloss black. 18x8.5 with a 35mm offset.
http://privatwheels.com/profil.html
its a sexy wheel with a fat ass lip, polished of course.
wheels are made by konig iirc
im running them on my daily driver.
if i had the money, the supra would be long gone and i would be driving my friends 850r. that thing is fucking nuts, almost 400whp and it pulls on everything while looking and sounding stock. even the engine bay looks stock except for the MSD box. the only thing i would do to it is convert...
not much fabricating, some has been done before. jeep has the ax15 which has the same bellhousing. they make adapter kits for that trans to the SBC, and they make universal mounts for the LSx that you would weld to the frame.
what kit, what jets are you planning on running, are you going to tune after you install, what are your overall goals, theres more info needed. oh and the most important, why do you want to run nitrous.
