All depends on positioning of the turbos. Hell, for that matter, get a single TD06-20g, have someone fabricate you a manifold and some pipes. Should be able to make a pretty healthy 400-500hp pretty easily.
Sheesh... TWO TD06's? That's just nuts.
Could suck up monsoon water pretty good, which is definitely NOT good...
Very unique there... Kinda curious now, as to why? Change the sound at all? Neat regardless...
Well done sir... can't even tell there is a sub in the spare area. Well done indeed...
Holy old school man!
Add another...
You'd be a dumbass for buying an NA for 5k too... unless it was damn near MINT.
You know, I bought mine from a dealer (my first Supra anyway), took it off their hands for $1000. Had a BHG and a blown radiator (literally, exploded top tank), due to them trying to warm the car up on a -25°F...
No kidding huh? Well I guess I learned something new today, thanks for the correction. :)
And what kind of cheapass ships taillights without the bulb holders? They're pretty much glued on anyway, right?
You should check out the Goodyear GS-D3's. I bought a set for the Miata, in a 205/40/17, and could NEVER get those things to let go. I imagine on a proper-for-the-weight size for the Supra, you'd see similar results. Plus, they're awesome in the wet. Unfortunately, they're kinda pricey. Almost...
I've also heard "difference between a porcupine and a Vette/Porsche/Etc...", on the porcupine, the pricks are on the outside. :)
That's because the car has a 30 gallon tank, no? My old NA Supra would get around 450-500 to the tank on the highway, if I kept my foot out of it. :)
After discussing cars with a buddy of mine here at work, the subject of the NSX came up. To him, that is his lottery car (mine is the F40), and I told him I was happy for him, that he could reasonably afford an NSX. He was rather surprised to find that they can be had for 20-30k all day long...
Pretty easy to solve that I would think... I think that would be a win-win for all involved, really. Then again, Governement Motors might not like a silly looking Japanese fish-car powered by a magical spinning dorito to be putting their precious Corvette on it's toes... Stupid oil prices...
Eh, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the IRL cars rev to something like 10-12k? Last I checked, F1 was running upwards of 18-19k... I mean, an engine is an engine, but there's bound to be some EXTREMELY tight specs on those F1 units. I still can't see it costing 100k though...
If you have wires smoking, you're quite literally asking to have a fire in your car... I'd hold off on any more experimenting with that until someone can provide you with a more concrete CAUSE as to why your car is doing that. Unfortunately, I am not that person.
That's because the effect of gravity is higher in Canadia, so it wouldn't reflect properly on a scale, so they all decided not to put weights on titles up there. :)
I still say they must have only driven your car 2/3 of the way onto the scales...
New to Supras huh? Yes, most items will change over from one year Mk3 to another. About the only thing I'm aware of that bears any significance is the electrical related bits, i.e. the brake light failure module.
Giving me some inspiration here. I have the PWR radiator, and trying to find a fan setup that fits (and flows the CFM needed) with the JZ hasn't been easy. Keeping the car cool in hot ambient temps has been difficult as a result. I'm liking this idea, should open up lot of room for a nice thick...
