Everything is much louder on the inside without sound deadening, its not just the rain drops that you hear. You hear rock/debris, wind noise, engine noise, exhaust noise, suspension noise, everything is just generally much louder.

Base of your windshield is low pressure. Low pressure will suck in air. Duane said the heaviest CF hood he made was 14 lbs :naughty: Lots of people have their low/high pressures mixed up. An obvious giveaway is a shimmed hood on a supra ;)

No, the low pressure zone is at the base of the windshield. The high pressure zone is over the radiator.

Nobody is right here, it's all just personal opinion. I did not buy the supra for weight reduction, I was going to do it to whatever car I decided upon, which happened to be the supra. I'm a supra lover just like all of you, I just decided to go a different route with mine.
