    The quest for flush fitment

I would post, but I don't have any good pics of my 88 during daylight, and really don't have any side-profile pictures of the car. Supraguy's photo is probably more accurate than mine however, given my car was on stock wheels. Hahaha, good to see someone considers function before form. He's...

    eClutchmaster's Stage 2 clutch...

Well, good to hear he did right by you at least. For what it's worth, a stock clutch and pressure plate will still hold around 300-320ft/lbs. Mine never slipped until I upped the boost on the stock twins to ~15-16psi. I figure I was approaching the limit for a stock setup.

Mk3 Supra SMOKED brand new RX-8

Not saying that our cars are ONLY good on highways... honesty, mine is better below 3rd gear than above it. Feels so anemic in 3rd or higher most days, thank you stock turbos... I agree, which is exactly why I love new muscle cars around here. Everyone thinks they're hot shit, but at 6600'...

My Car vs 04 WRX (Video Inside)

Port the heads on those EJ engines though, and wow... talk about some hidden power! Still, only so much power a tiny turbo can manage. Why is the audio lacking on the Go-Pro, just a side effect of the price point?

    Stickshift Wheelie...

Chocolate starfish? Hahahaha, indeed. Anyone else notice him almost go off the track at the end? Oh, and don't these sorts of videos belong in off topic?

Since everyone likes to see engine destruction...

Did the owner fess up to what might have caused that? I mean fuck... I've seen some gnarly cranks before, but wow. Buddy of mine threw his 1zz Corolla well into the 8-9k range once, trying to shift from 5th into 4th, grabbed 2nd instead... at like 85mph. Car is still running fine to this day.

I <3 the sound of 45 psi of boost

Was about to say, "675whp, that's it?" until I realized that's putting power to 4 wheels... not too shabby. Still remember seeing an Evo that Mynes in Mesa built a while back dyno, that thing was painful. :p

    psn gamertags?

I never understood the appeal of hacking a game for competitive playing. I totally get the fun that hacking can be in single player (hell I learned to create hexidecimal coding for the gameshark back in the day just to see what would happen), but when it's a skill based competition, what fun is...

    Crash, 8 ferrari's, 3 Merc's, Lambo, Skyline & Prius.

Bah, nobody reads the news section Ian. :p This almost sounds like a setup for a joke though... 8 Ferarris, 3 Mercs, a Lambo, a Skyline, and a Prius get on the highway together...

    Mossberg 500, anyone use one?

I can't imagine the Saiga is at all cheap... Not looking for "cheap", just don't want to pay out the ass for something that if I'm lucky, won't need to be used for more than entertainment. Part of the appeal of the pump design is the sound that chambering a round makes. Hell, if that's not...

R8 Style Gated Shifter For My Soarer

Mostly only seen this type of shifter on Italian cars, and a few Germans over the years. Never really understood the point though, just seems like it might make it more difficult to change gear than necessary? Although, that said, this sort of pattern would fit a Miata or a T56 trans quite...

    Its finally here! (Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86)

Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, "slow car fast" is more fun on a daily basis than "fast car slow". ;) How is the Subaru any different? I haven't seen any particular details that separate them. You sir, seem to have a test of loyalty ahead of you haha. :p Errr... what? Where have you...

    2011 Chevrolet scorpion prototype

Just when I thought that the C3 could do no more harm to my eyes... And now for a joke: A C3 Vette and a 512 Ferarri walk into a photo booth together...

    After market subframes?

And that's why you'll likely never see one unfortunately... What would be the other advantage to making one, custom suspension geometry? I can't think of anything else myself.

What is it, a Blitz manifold for the old KKK setups?

lesson learned... buy a fire extinguisher

I think you kinda already answered your question there... I'd say if only for the time invested in that harness, it would be worth your time to keep an extinguisher on hand. ;)

Rapid Prototyping Front "2.5 TWIN turbo" badge

Grimjack made the Mk3 font I believe, check in the pictures and photography section to find it. As for pricing, I think if you go more than $25-30, you're probably going to lose most people on here. Gotta find a good balance point where what you bring in covers your expenses and time, with a...

    The quest for flush fitment

Honestly, for stance, I have yet to see a drop in solution that does better than the Eibach Pro kit for our cars. They're cheap (~$200-300 last I checked), get some new Tokicos, and call it a day. You'll have about 1/4" gap up front, and maybe 1/2" in back. Throw a good set of sway bars on it...

Mk3 Supra SMOKED brand new RX-8

I love when people underestimate a Supra... but I agree, the RX8 driver was retarded in picking the venue that highly favors the Supra. :nono:

    Its finally here! (Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86)

Link fails for me as well. 12.5:1 really isn't all that high of compression for a direct injection fuel delivery. Hell, it was common to run that high back in the late 60's, but they had leaded fuel. Now, if this car is running 12.5:1 compression AND running on 87 octane fuel, that would be...
