    End of a chapter...sad day

Man, do I know the feeling, and I wasn't even there when my old roommate sold the car I sold to him to someone else... As for fun and cheap (fairly well built too), you can't go wrong with a Miata. They'll make your daily commute more fun, trust me. And if anyone asks, you can always tell...

    JDMMA70 vs MK3 GTi VR6

TD06-20g on your car? I'm surprised he kept up that well... good for him, but you still took it. :)

Urgent Alert: House Vote Coming Soon on CCW Reciprocity Bill

From what I've read and seen, Lummis seems to be pretty straight forward when it comes to upholding this kind of thing, but I emailed her on it anyway. How long does it usually take for this sort of thing to be updated Mike? I'd be curious what the outcome is, but I don't read the local paper...

    Driving shoes

Hmm... might be worth looking into. Pretty much only walk barefoot around the house, and depending on the size of your bugs, that may not even be a good idea. :p

Petition to Change U.S. Vehicle Import Laws

Signed. I think it's silly that Homeland Security has had any part of the whole automotive side of things...

You will have to update us, nobody likes threads without endings. ;)

    Piston hitting spark plug!:(

I'll be the first one to chime in and say this happened to my 88 once on a trip from the other side of the state. I believe it was #5 on my 7m, electrode strap was absolutely smashed to the electrode itself. Swapped out the plug, never had that problem again, but it puzzles me to this day...

Spoilers and Wings: Spoiler or wing

I forget his name on here, but lives in FL, has had some sweet wheels and hard to find body bits for sale over the years, he had one of the Trust/Greddy F40 wings for sale last year. Had I not already bought the Regulus, I might have picked that one up, they suit our cars well.

Hit on the same spot again -.-

Sorry to hear that man, sounds like my misadventures in 2006 with my 88. Got hit on the driver side near the door twice in the same month. Of course it HAD to be AFTER it was fixed the first time. Reason enough to get a train horn?

$80 Black-and-White Photo of my Mk III!

I'm not sure how Canada works, but those are throwaway tickets everywhere I've lived. Unless a ticket is served to you by a law enforcement officer or official of the court, and you SIGN for it, it is not a valid ticket in most states. Who is to say you ever got that in the mail? Or that it was...

    beat a 1984 p type supra

That's how it always was for me man. I always saw other Miatas when I was in the Supra, and always saw Supras when I was in the Miata. Oh well haha...

    Will this wheel setup work?

Should fit just fine. If it were me I'd run a 255 front and 275 rear with wheels that size, depending on suspension and alignment settings, you should be fine as far as rubbing is concerned... By the way, there is an awesome thread about this sort of thing that is stickied in the Mk3 General...

    Any doctors around?

Sounds almost like almost any accounting department I've ever had to deal with. They can not seem to look at the big picture, only mere lines of text/numbers, buried deep within a document. Never did understand why these things didn't make sense to them. On the plus side, the can be fun to mess...

Driving unlawfully. How old are you?

Heh, I did that on a major intersection here on my way to work once, left hand turn, ground was wet, open diff in a 94 Miata... slid perfectly into a lane traveling in the opposite direction from where I meant to go. Probably looked pretty sweet to people who saw, but I got lucky I didn't hit...

    Driving shoes

Those are awesome Emilio... might have to track down a pair of those, ninja feet! Gotta wonder though, shoes vary in size from brand to brand, but FEET? Everybody has different sized feet. Hell, I'm sure not everybody has the same size feet left and right on their own legs. Wonder how well they...

Rear Stock CT12A missing bolt, leaking oil?

Try cleaning it up as best as you can, driving the car for a couple days, then seeing if the oil comes back? Oil/coolant stains/drips can be temperamental in my experience. If it comes back, you know for sure you have a leak somewhere. If they don't, it could have been just something that...

lesson learned... buy a fire extinguisher

So then the Cleanguard is the easier to source alternative then? Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I've heard of some countries (Japan comes to mind here for some reason) that REQUIRE a fire extinguisher be kept in the car, as well as a small first aid kit, flares, etc...
