the only purple connector on the IG1 is for the A/T Indicator D. i didnt use the purple on the M1

unfortunately, toyota went nuts on the 89. some of the wiring is 88 and some is 90. the good thing is the dash harness is almost the same(1 wire off) and the rest isn't bad to figure out. tell us exactly what you need to wire for the swap and ill try and make some diagrams.
