A good brand muffler in your price range thats not too crazy loud, would be the stainless Borla proXS. The 3" in/out cost me about $90.

Looks like you simply switched from series to parallel setup. Not sure if the resistance change affect the igniter's ability to trigger the coils or not. Thanks for the update, AbsoluteSpeed.

For about $1000 you could get into Stance coilovers. A semi-decent budget coilover would be Megan EZ street for about $700. That's what I have, because they had more street-friendly spring rates. but I also like Powered by Max coilovers...
