All I did with mine was literally pull the brackets that came off the 7m ecu, and put them on the 1j ecu (took me a second to get them in the right positions), and it bolted right up like stock. :)

It's been beaten to death on here... the glass is the heavy part, not the hatch itself. Unless it's a style preference, your money is probably better spent elsewhere. Plus, pulling weight off a nose-heavy car before lightening up the front significantly... not the best of ideas from a handling...

Surprised you didn't find an answer on NA-T's forums... NA cams (at least 7m) have really low torque peaks, but really fall on their face with higher rpm. Not sure if this is the same on the JZ's though, sure someone on here can verify that though.

Some cars came with manual seats. If your car is one of those, you may not have the wiring necessary built into your car, so you would likely want to track down a schematic and a plug to connect to the one on the seat.
