    Windows Vista

Makes no difference to me in terms of speed. My flatmate is running it with 512mb of mem and the same graphics card - runs fine. If you have that much memory, and its slow - defrag!

    Windows Vista

Get the Vista Transformation Pack from here: http://www.windowsxlive.net/?page_id=15 You dont need to be 64-bit at all. The Royale Remixed theme i use at the moment is also for 32-bit Windows too.

    New movie = BADASS

Hollywood is under the impression (quite rightly so) that if you throw enough hot women and explosions/sfx at a movie, and cut together a fast paced trailer, people will flock to see it. It doesnt make the movie any good, and people will say 'it sucked' etc, but hey, hollywood still has your £12...

    Windows Vista

I found today, that if you want the benefits of Vista (ie, the shiny stuff) without the shit - get the Vista Transformation Pack :) Or if you're on XP 64-bit like me, get the 'Royale Noir Remixed' theme pack and uxtheme.dll patcher. I like it. Very spiffy.

    New movie = BADASS

it looks kinda average popcorn chewing fare. Not as cool as Gone in 60 Seconds (the original JB Halicki version) or Bullitt. Still, i'll probably watch it when it comes out on DVD.

    Windows Vista

Crysis and UT3 are the ONLY things so far that make the move to vista inevitable. I wont like it, but i'll be playing Crysis too often to care, hopefully.

    Windows Vista

heh - 1gb memory and it was paging like a bitch. XP64 gives me none of that. Right now, i have the same apps open, and i STILL have 680mb free. And yes, i turned off UAC cause it was annoying as hell.

    Windows Vista

How did you get past the....annoyingness of vista as a whole? and the whole disk paging thing?

    Windows Vista

Wow - i was spot on too. 1 hour and i've got XP 64 back, all the right drivers, even hanging out on mIRC :D

    Windows Vista

Yeah, until that point though, i'm going back to XP 64-bit. This is starting to drive me nuts. Vista was only released i think, to placate investors, seeing as it was put back years from when they said it was going to be released. And they dropped a crapload of features. Only bother with this...

    Windows Vista

I think i may just go back to XP x86-64 tomorrow - it was stable and nice. Vista is all show, no go. And Vista is paging my hard disk like CRAZY - it's annoying the shit outta me.

    Windows Vista

Well, i managed to 'procure' the DVD for Vista Ultimate 64-bit, so i thought i'd bore you all about it :D It doesnt take long to install, which is a good thing. And, you can now load RAID drivers from a USB key instead of having to rummage for a working floppy disk, which is another plus...

Anna nicole smith = =X DEAD

    Epic Mustang build.

I'm trying to get my friends dad to start making lightweight panels out of aluminium. Things like the bonnet and front wings would save a crapload of weight. Also, the boot lid, with acrylic instead of glass.

    Supra's in the movies...

Nope - thats not a supra. Another coupe - probably a Trans-Am judging by the lights. I tell you what though - The Mk3 used to be featured in the Top Gear Credits back in the late 80's to early 90's - check it out :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQCyrJyaVb4

New uses for old army engines???

Seen this before - although someone has used the 27-litre Rolls Royce Merlin V12 from a Spitfire in a car before, and the same engine (albeit detuned - The meteor), is being stuck in a Rover SD-1. http://www.ppcmag.co.uk/staffcardetail.asp?id=8

    Anyone in Phoenix?

The reason why i'm asking this, is cause a friend of mine DESPERATELY needs transport. He's living on disability and ideally needs a van or someone to fit a working 302 to the broken-ass Ford Van he has at the moment. Failing that - can anyone DONATE a car, doesnt matter of what kind, to him? I...

    1jz escort????

Well, the US and European Escort shared almost NOTHING in common. We started making Escorts from 1963, you started in the 80's ('81 iirc). The first two we made were RWD with either 1.6 litre X-flow OHV or 1.6 Pinto OHC engines, followed by the RS1600, RS1800 and RS2000's, which used 1.6 and...
