    Stock return location? That would be hard to do...it's a straight shot to the pan from the block turbo return.

    Replace the line or take it off and throughly clean it...the feed line too while you're at it. What kind of turbo?

    Not a bad idea to put a filter on the feed line as well...especially on a BB turbo.

    Like IJ said, the ony way an oil pump will affect idle is cause the motor to seize...then you would have no idle. I moved this thread...the into section is not the place to ask for help/advice. Please read the stickies in the intro section and post in the correct area in the future.

    You are correct...you should not need a SAFC for the motor to run correctly. It is useful to tune at high RPM...the Lex/550 combo runs rich at WOT. The responses you've got so far are way off (at least concerning this problem). ;) The minor damage to the honeycomb will not cause this...

    Kenny - Cutting off the jiggle valve will allow a small flow through the radiator at all times. It does two things: 1) Allows the system to rid itself of air more quickly. 2) Insures there is no pressure build-up behind the thermostat that can hold it closed. I cut the jiggle valve off...
