    Pictures of my new toy

Crank Pulley Bolt..... Also - one thing is, over here, theres a model of car (Vauxhall Astra Mk3) that's front fenders can be used as perfect patch panels for the supra - drivers side fender fits passenger side rear and vice versa - no fibreglass needed ;)

Few questions for a fresh build! Please!

No - you should always go for the smallest overbore you can get away with - these engines dont really give any gain if you overbore them. If you're running a hybrid and full turbo back exhaust, with those mods and the boost turn up, you should see more than that as i was under the assumption...

I dont think he meant you :p Don - you checked the crank pulley bolt first of all? I'd bet on that being loose!

Few questions for a fresh build! Please!

Have a look at the Spearco IC on driftmotion - cheap and will do a far better job than the stock one IMHO. I was going to ask - how come you're going for .40 oversize? Is your block that bad? As for the turbo - well....how about a 57trim CT26 to start off with, shim the wastegate (or get an...

What rides do your parents pimp?

Back in the day, the only 'pimp' ride my family ever had (we only ever had one car), was a 1981 Lancia Delta 1.5 Twin Cam. Weber 45 Carbs - that thing was insanely fast.... It had a full length Webasto sunroof as well, so you could stand up in the back seats while you were driving...

AR5 Trans Take Two: The Solstice Solution

American muscle has its place....but to be honest they're all detuned for longevity and have typically sloppy tolerances. They suck in standard trim, and only when you rebuild and blueprint it do they start to shine.... I still wouldnt want to swap one into a Supra. If i V8'ed it, it'd have to...

    Anybody want a Turbo A?

Basically, it doesnt use the Karmann Vortex airflow meter. Instead it uses a Manifold pressure sensor like the 1JZ/2JZ-GTE engines. You remove the restriction in front of the turbo - so you just have the air filter bolted straight to the turbo.

    Where do you live?

Hehe, thats just my bedroom - i share with 3 others (two girls and another guy), and i drew the straw for the smallest room. Theres a kitchen and bathroom you haven't seen. I think theres a video i put up on youtube for my g/f of what this flat is like - i'll dig it out later on when i'm more...

    Where do you live?

Eh - 270lb isnt that large :D To be honest, i dont actually need much space, everything i have fits easily into this room and i have some spare space at the end of the bed/in the shelves. I just wish it wasnt so damned expensive, but hey, thats london....

    Ticking

Is it a tick or a knock? Does it make the noise from idle, or from 2krpm to 3krpm? It could be a loose crank pulley bolt, rod knock, noisy injectors...

    MAF

These aren't a MAF setup, they're Karmann Vortex ;) You only need to replace the sensor electronics.

What are some nice standalone systems?

I had been considering MS&S, but the Omex 710 looks oh-so tempting...and best of all, its british! :D (no jokes about Lucas, please :p )
