Ohhhh a Mk1 scirocco....never ever seen one of those in person. Loads of Mk2's though....still, FWD = fail :(

I had a similar problem on an old Escort 1.4 - the pump physically worked, but because of the centre spindle wobbling all the time, it enlarged the hole just enough to let all the water piss out of it all the time. IJ - would you say clean that up with wire wool and lots of elbow grease?

Ooooh, me likey :) Currently, the only 'stereo' i have is my computer - which has a cambridge soundworks P380 satellite setup. 2x speakers and a bass bin/amp. It's more than loud enough :)

Doint forget, even if its an automatic, its easy enough to convert it to a manual - just need the gearbox, pedals, master and slave cylinders, propshaft and clutch.

Merkur XR4Ti :) Same as the Ford Sierra XR4i....well, the XR4i had a non-turbo 2.8 V6 instead of a 2.3 litre 4 banger, but they're good apparrently... I had the europe only spec XR4x4 - 5 door hatch....niiiiiiice car ;)
