Emilio's Rebuild & Improvement Build Thread

Do you have a picture of said wire damages? I can picture the fusible link section of wire being damaged causing a lack of power to the fusebox, which in turn feeds the vehicle wiring and ignition switch, but not sure about the "grounding on positive cable" statement...

Emilio's Rebuild & Improvement Build Thread

I 100% absolutely freakin OMG guarantee that its a battery connection issue! (ok, so maybe not that much, but you get the point :P ) I have had to fix so many of those at work after people replace their battery (even after the dealership, too) You have enough current capability (at the fault...

    Slipping Clutch Diagnosis (PICS)

Here's the clutches I'd suggest from Spec. Not even close to a master list, but mine has worked well, even though I bought it used! Stage 3 520 lb-ft rated: $500...

    Slipping Clutch Diagnosis (PICS)

Those dark spots on the disc are unworn areas, right? That's what it tlooks like...unless I'm crazy :P I meant warped in the sense that where the rivets are is lower than the surrounding area- like when they were building the disc they bent the metal frame when staking the rivets, which is...

    Slipping Clutch Diagnosis (PICS)

Wow, that disc looks warped, Ken! Might have been an assembly problem since it seems to be centered round the rivets, too. Pretty sure the rear main wouldn't cause that to happen unless the oil is cooling the AL flywheel in a negatively way/at all. I'm sure you dont want to hear this, but I...

Emilio's Rebuild & Improvement Build Thread

That click followed by all dead 90% indicates a poor connection to the battery. Whether it be internal or the terminals, my cash is on that. (Might be cool and be a cable) I know you checked them, but that's usually what I see with those symtoms. Oil leak...?

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Hokay, got the bushings all installed today, just waiting on new adjustment hardware to reassemble! Well, that and to clean off the PS front subframe- lots of greasy sludge built up there from previous repairs :/ YAYAYAYAYAY!!!! Brakes mocked up in the rim: So I got a pressure washer to...

    7mgte injectors leaking!!! help please

Umm, there is no fuel that goes through the head. But, I still think it's the O-rings that you are in need of. You will need 6 -orings, and 6 insulators to do the job right (and avoin vacuum leaks) http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291420/catalog.aspx?F=2211&P=2 Look for part numbers...

    7mgte injectors leaking!!! help please

Sounds like your o-rings are done! easy to replace, though! They are leaking from in between the fuel rail and the injector, I assume?

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Thanks guys! I'm now working on my suspension since the brakes require lots of work with the knuckles (need to remove the ABS sensors/backing plates/reinstall abs sensors) Here's how I'm doing! As it stands now, only the PS is apart, the rest will come out tonight! There will be poly...

Possible to bypass the PPS solenoid?

You could probably buy a used non-pps rack from a yard if that's an option, otherwise its gorilla mode for some time ;)

Ffffffff.... Lent my Supra to my Father....

No worries, Dude! Cords are easy to replace/repair, and the parking brake thing can wait until warmer weather! He was likely stressed that his car was inop and spaced on what you had asked! That said, he should be getting this stuff fixed/replaced- it's only fair :)
