Based on the purple and gold valve covers I think it has 500hp what kinda of electronics is it running? If any? Boost controller?

are you sure you have a good vaccuum source? because i had the same problem.. but then switched to a source right off the manifold and it vents with VERY LITTLE flutter at 0-2psi and no noticable flutter from 2-7psi

dome light only turns on when my door is open (middle switch).. but individual buttons dont work with door closed or opened :S tails work.. but i occassionally get the tail light failure light on the dash when it rains?? lol (leaking hatch i guess)

It sounds like somethings wrong with your bc? But it could be your wg do you have access to a spare one?

Do you still have the old wg? Did you hook your boost controller up properly? How much does it run withut your boost controller installed?
