Very impressive. I run my car pretty regularly at 16-17psi on the stock 370cc injectors, afrs when my wideband is cooperating are usually mid 11's.
False on that one buddy:
This was on stock everything except cams and head porting, and 3" exhaust. ~12psi, and only revved to ~6300 by the...
Waste of money IMO. Still running the same copper NGK's, BKR5E if I remember correctly. Just changed them a few weeks ago since one of them was breaking up after being in there for... a long while. On a side note, the dollar must have fallen a bit more, those $1.97 plugs I bought last year cost...
Told ya you'd figure it out. As for the window movement, mine is that way, my old one and my Mk2 were/are not. I know the current Mk3 is kinda a mess, I just figured that was how it was with some of them. Have you checked the TSRM yet? Not sure it would have anything on window adjustment, but...
There are 1911 models with a double stack magazine, those might be more to your liking. I held a few at the last gun show, and they were just way too big for my hand. The single stack 1911 (Remington) that I ended up buying, feels nice and stable in my hand, the weight isn't too bad (I'm not a...
I still genuinely believe that all this gun control talk may be a mere plot to get people spending money. Bullets and guns are usually taxed, after all...
Sounds fun. Mostly looking for accuracy at distances I won't have to have a super expensive scope to hit. Not really into varmint hunting, I was raised that you eat what you kill. ;)
Ricerkid (never thought I'd say this to someone with a screen name like that haha), you might be my new hero if you can get that thing into the 13's. If you can justify it and either have the skills to port it, or know someone who knows what they're doing in that respect, I'd recommend it. ;)...
Port the head, get bigger cams, upgrade the valves, valve springs/retainers, etc... make sure the bottom end is balanced very well, and let that thing see 10k. ;)
Ugh, sorry to hear that man. I figure though if you're not running an oil cooler, doing that, standing still, in April in AZ (ambient temps around what, 90 yet?), your oil temps probably approached the high 200's... Then again, there's only so much an oil cooler can do if you're not moving...
How old are you, 9? I mean, I thought ~200-250/month was bad when I was younger. Not even sure I ever payed *quite* that much, but I seem to recall it being close to that.
Or do you just have a terrible driving record?
Also, dangoltellyawhutman... yeah.
Eh, I guess I'm just used to bikes parking fairly close to wherever they're going to. Not at all unusual to see bikes parked on sidewalks in front of businesses around here, but if you saw how people drive and/or park around here, you'd be cool with it.
Sounds like a good one, I can't honestly say I've ever read any of King's books. How is it on pacing? That always seems to be the hangup for me, if a book is slow paced... it tends to lose me.
No worries Fixitman, will surely make a cool display upon some walls someday, looking forward to it!
Hahaha, must have been spoiled. :p
Now that you mention it, I guess I do tend to keep one bottle from each soda (bottles only, except for my Japanese can of Mountain Dew that a bud got me when...
Thanks for posting this bud, was quite a fun read, and some nice pics of rather unique cars. Definitely don't see things like that around where I live...
That "REDNECK" truck you posted pics of seems to have an LS motor of some sort, which explains the going like stink. Kinda similar to my...
I was about to say, direct fuel injection didn't come along for quite some time after that, right? However, that image that A.Jay posted seems to suggest otherwise. I'll have to check the sources later. If that's legit, it explains a lot about how they manage to squeeze that much power out of an...
