    First autocross with my Supra

Chambers... I liked you before man. Now... I'm hoping you're peanut butter, because I'm am rather jelly. Seriously though, I wish so badly that we had something like that here. Well done man, well done!

    7mgte vs stock 2009 saleen 302 extreme

Nice kill man. 35 roll in 3rd though? What rear end do you have? My car would be starting around 2400 rpm in 3rd with the 3.73 diff... even with that turbo, still seems ambitious. I would have been in 2nd (maybe even 1st), but that's just me. :) Your car does 120 in third with a 7200 limit? I'm...

    Rotella T6 5w 40 in 7mgte

Been running it in my 1j for about 3 years now. Last couple oil analysis reports seem to suggest that all is well for the most part. I'd recommend changing by the time you have a year on it. I pushed mine for ~1.5 years, and it seems to have gone up a bit on the wear metals, possibly a bit of an...

Water to Air intercooler, who has done one?

Curious on some things guys, who has done one on a Mk3? I know IJ has, anyone else? Where did you put it? What size did you go with? How well did it perform? (how much power was it trying to cool?) I can't be the only one thinking of doing this... I have a few ideas, but space seems...

    Contractors/Engineers help! Garage Pics inside

Paging Suprahero, I think this sort of thing might be right up his alley, or would know who to point you to... Although it might be tempting to remove that column, you have to ask yourself ONE question: "What is all this stuff in my garage worth to me?" ;)

    Picture of the Day!

Please tell us that is staying... At first I was going to suggest that those must be as rare as teeth on a hen in that part of the world, but then I see a newer Dodge Charger in the background of that last picture? Do you guys have a lot more American cars there than I would think? Looks...

    240sx or Supra?

Power's fine. Needs more curvy roads and a bit more seat time. They're momentum cars, not really power cars. Don't slow down and they're plenty fast. ;) I've owned all three (Miata, Supra, 240), driven various examples of each. Pros and cons from my experiences: Supra pros: -Comfortable -Good...

    Looking at a Porsche 944s

Bwahahaha, that might be the first time I've ever seen something ill compared to an RX7 for reliability. :p Honestly though, that's kinda what Mazda was going for with the FC if I recall. They're nice cars as well, and not completely slow NA if you know how to drive. Definitely not slow if...

    Kick me in the Teeth

Sorry to hear of your loss bud. Losing family always sucks when you're close like that. Hopefully he went as peacefully as possible. Well, hang in there and keep your chin up, eyes open looking for your next place in life. If you need anything, you know we're here for ya. :)

well looks like i get a unplanned vacation...

I can't say I've ever been down for more than a few days for much of anything bud, but Ian is right. 6-8 weeks will fly by before you know it if you have any hobbies or catching up to do, which it sounds like you have that covered. ;) Hell, it's already the end of JUNE. Feels like just...

    clutch options 8xx hp ?

Just read about this tech in GRM this afternoon, rather cool stuff. Might look into it on a future clutch swap, perhaps if the Mk2 ever needs one. :) Thanks for the review man. So if I understand it correctly, you dump the clutch, and it doesn't bog or rip the tires to shreds, it modulates how...

    Anti roll bar stiffness table

Did that thread ever happen to materialize? I bought a set of Tanabe's last year, front and rear. Looking at the chart seems to suggest to my understanding that they really help the car turn in and/or rotate. This could make for an interesting setup on my car once I put them on...

    clutch options 8xx hp ?

Were you referring to me? If so, I haven't put even a single mile on it yet. Hoping to have this car running and driving in a couple months. When you guys see what all is involved, it should make sense why it's taken so long. ;)

    Comic Con

Trust me man, even if it is Miami, I'm sure there is LOADS more to do than we ever have around here. :) And yeah, I know the feeling. Growing up a bit, you start to lose some interest (or rather time for) the hobbies you have had in the past. It really is a challenge to stay focused on hobbies...

Shaeff, you WOULD be ready. Jeff, how much longer before we can check out this car at the local museum?

    SWAP: The Tweak'd Performance 2JZ/FR-S

Pardon the pun, but I think this is just what the Doctor ordered. Teehee. That out of my system, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, being a fan of both the FR-S and the JZ platform. Anything more to share, being that it's been a month and a half now?

    Looking at a Porsche 944s

I can say this much about them from living with a friend who owned one: -They're really well built, and -they're really, really finicky, as pointed out above. Save yourself the money and buy a Miata. Spend the money you *would* have put into maintaining the Porsche on a Flyin' Miata turbo...

How are your stores ammo shelves looking in your state?

Hit up the gun show that comes around every few months out of Idaho last weekend. Managed to get my hands on a few boxes of .45 acp, but the price is still a bit on the high side. On that note, I think I picked the wrong gun haha. Bought some 7.62x54 for a friend of mine so we can shoot his...

    The bugs are coming...

I seem to recall a similar infestation of grasshoppers when I was living in Arizona, if I recall, it was during the early 2000's. MILLIONS of them. Really is a sight to behold, and fortunately, they're not quite as noisy as cicadas. :)

    Comic Con

You happen to get any pics worth sharing Damien? About the closest thing to a con I've been to was the Motortrend auto show in SLC a few years ago. Neat, to see that many people into the same stuff that growing up, we were considered "geeks" because of. :)
