I usally check it every 5000 just for peace of mind, if I ever get another 5000 on it as it's been sitting in the garage waiting for me to finish tuning:biglaugh:
Finnon is right, I did that and it worked for a while. If you don't have power to the passenger side it is probably the master switch on the driver side.
Come on guys a little "thumping" doesn't hunt anybody now and then.:)
I think he's got more problems than rod knock if it's "thumping" instead of "tapping"
I think there is three different things being discussed here.
#1 Was the original post of RTV to seal the HG at the front cover, IJ covered that.
#2 was the galley cover, using RTV to seal that.I think Seth covered that.
#3 was the valve cover gaskets, cuel covered that with a little in the...
Yes. You have to use a jumper wire in the dianostic box, I forget which ones but it's in the TSRM. It's also on the hood sticker if you still have one.
