ric has a point
i want a 1.5JZ
A.) cause its different no real bandwagon here
B.) HAMSmkiii's car is sick so it proves it will make power fine
C.) its cheaper than a full 2JZ motor set. i can go 1.5JZ and a single turbo for close to what it costs for a jdm 2JZ with small shitty twins...
im gonna do a 1.5JZ still man if its what you want do it. if you want a 2J then do it.
before Ric was saying the head flow wasn't different and now he's saying it will be a restriction....makes no sense stick with one or the other.
im doing it to be different plus for me its cheaper. later...
no problem man i feel ya slowly upgrading. instead of needing to take out a loan to build it LOL
i'm going 1.5JZ as well, wont be going AS big as you are for a LONG while but will be 1.5J with single 67 or 71 turbo by the end of the year is my plan
edit:: btw mkiv's are gay in the sense...
i agree with what you are saying man completely!!!
but when i FIRST got my 1J i was thinking of going 1.5J and i PMed HAMS and he PM'd me back saying that his fully ported head with cams and everything didn't outflow the 2J head. this is from HIM and he said if he had to do it all over again...
maybe its what he wants to do lay the fuck off guys jesus.
if he wants a 1.5JZ then let him be. damn all these people quick to bash someone and hound em....and who in the hell wants an auto tt mkiv? not me.
go on mustangman do what you want don't listen to these people i think its sweet...
your bad idle is prollly the fact that you have 550's and no SAFC or anything to lean it out.
its prolly gonna foul out plugs soon if it hasn't started to already....
550's and walbro on stock ecu with no controller is bad news
the 6speed is a GETRAG German made tranny and its the v160 not t56...t56 is more domestic....camaros, T/As and even Aston Martin from what i hear.
v160 6speed supra trans is like 2500 bucks by it self man
