There's not really any point in ARP bolts. Stock bolts are nearly just as strong. and if you're snapping head bolts... You're doing something wrong.

Well... I wish I'd have noticed this earlier... How the switches are supposed to be setup for an external gate And the proper setup for internal. Just flip everything.

Stock bolts are surprisingly good. I remember a thread on here that only put them a little behind ARP bolts in terms of tensile strength. A couple thousand psi iirc? Which, when they're in the 80-90k psi range, isn't too bad. (I'm really going off memory here, my numbers are probably wayyyyy off)

I forgot to update this thread. No check valve or any reason for the EVC to act like it does. More details in my thread in the mk3 general discussion sub forum.

I have a first generation EVC, and while I was super excited to wire it in and experience 17 psi of boost to red line, I got a little more than I bargained for. It gave me 15 psi of boost when I was supposed to give me 8. No control over the boost level on any setting. So I dug into it a little...
