Sand blast the exterior panels and you'll see every brace and hidden underpanel by the end of it.
Plastic media or baking soda maybe walnut shell are all okish if the operator's good.
Buy a small plastic JDM Cannister off one of the half cut guys and install it under the inner fender plastics out of sight.
Problem solved 100% and you're NOT fucking the car up.

The Turbo is a gravity drain it doesn't need much to back it up, non BB turbo's are worst as they flow a bucketOoil through em compared to BB units.
One at the front/side needs to be removed, lay it on the block you'll see which one right away.
10x1.25 pitch bolts from memory so that Tq sounds correct to me.
no idea on the oil hint thing, I guess if you have a dummy yoke there's no need to drain.
